At the Kasana Children's Center

Greetings from Uganda.

On Monday morning our weary team made its way to New Hope Uganda. We spent a day learning and touring New Hope and visiting all their amazing ministries.

New Hope's work involves working with orphaned children, community development, and many other things. I think we were all blown away.

The last couple days we've been working with our various projects. The ladies have been doing math tutoring, working in the baby house, and getting to know our family that we get the privilege to spend time with while here.

The men have been working on the playground. We spent yesterday clearing a patch of jungle with some hand tools. Today we are hoping to build a brick wall (if we can figure out the way to do it in Uganda).

And of course, Teresa is running a women's medical clinic which everyone is very appreciative for.

I hope to post a picture or two as we go. The internet connection is a bit slow here and we only have power every other day, so we will do the best we can.

Thanks for your prayers. We very much sense God's presence and work here.

In Christ,

The Uganda Team
